Abridge is hiring a Director, Product Management - AI/ML, Core Product

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for AI-powered clinical note generation.
  • Define long-term vision for core note modeling and evaluation infrastructure.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of evaluation platforms and performance measurement systems.
  • Develop a high-caliber evaluation framework combining human review, LLM-based judging, automated testing, and live production analysis.
  • Collaborate with machine learning and engineering teams to maintain robust benchmarks and rapid iteration cycles.
  • Drive expansion into clinical specialties with depth and contextual relevance.
  • Own the roadmap for specialty-specific note templates and ensure alignment with market adoption and revenue potential.
  • Ensure clinical notes meet professional standards in structure, terminology, and care setting expectations.
  • Work with clinical experts to establish gold-standard documentation practices and scalable methods for specialty growth.
  • Lead and grow a team of product managers focused on AI models, evaluation systems, and clinical workflows.
  • Manage product leaders across model development, quality assurance, evaluation, and specialty-specific processes.
  • Promote a culture emphasizing high performance, speed, and accountability.
  • Align with engineering and machine learning leadership on system architecture, model release timelines, and evaluation rigor.
  • Partner with design teams to create intuitive interfaces that integrate AI outputs while preserving clinician control.
  • Engage customer-facing teams to gather feedback and ensure real-world insights inform model improvements.
