Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable software systems for logistics operations
- Manage the full software development lifecycle across multiple platforms

- Set technical direction and long-term architecture strategy
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical freight management systems
- Oversee data security, compliance, and system integrity
- Recruit, mentor, and manage engineering team members
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency
- Drive automation initiatives across logistics workflows
- Maintain alignment between technology roadmap and company objectives
- Monitor system performance and lead incident response efforts
- Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party technology services
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and ensure cost-effective scaling
- Ensure API integrations with partners and carriers function reliably
- Lead agile development processes and sprint planning

- Support product development with technical feasibility assessments

Compensation
$150,000–$175,000 annually, plus performance bonus and profit sharing
