THE OPPORTUNITY The Director of Sales for United States Marine Corps (USMC) will collaborate directly with the Senior Director of Sales, USA. This role focuses on expanding Silvus' MIMO-MANET product sales within the USMC domain, participating comprehensively in the entire sales cycle. The position offers 100% remote work flexibility. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Management: - Direct and supervise complete sales processes aligned with strategic objectives - Initiate customer interactions and guide final sales transactions - Ensure successful follow-up procedures Business Relationship Development: - Establish and maintain relationships with USMC partners and customers - Identify emerging programs, market segments, and opportunities - Leverage company's core MIMO solutions Additional Responsibilities: - Support trade shows and customer events - Monitor market trends and competitive landscape - Manage business opportunity pipeline - Maintain comprehensive product knowledge - Provide exceptional customer service - Travel up to 50% of time, with variability REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years technical sales experience; OR High School Diploma with 8+ years demonstrated sales experience - Prior US DoD military service with progressive responsibility progression Specialized Knowledge: - Deep understanding of USMC procurement processes - Expertise in military communication systems - Comprehensive knowledge of DoD funding cycles - Experience in business capture strategies - SECRET security clearance eligibility - U.S. Citizenship PREFERRED CAPABILITIES - Autonomous military systems sales experience - Extensive USMC/Naval Special Warfare background - Strong technical communication skills - Leadership and program management expertise - Proven track record in MANET/radio solutions sales WORKING CONDITIONS - Remote home office environment - Occasional field demonstrations - Physical requirements include equipment handling - Lifting up to 50 lbs - Managing large equipment cases COMPENSATION Pay Range: $115,000 - $300,000 USD Variability based on experience and qualifications Silvus Technologies is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.
