About the Role

Kin Insurance is looking for a Director of Sales Training to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs for Sales and Customer Service agents. You will build and lead a department dedicated to producing the strongest sales agents in the insurance industry.

What You'll Do

  • Design and facilitate onboarding programs rooted in adult learning principles for Sales and Customer Service new hires.
  • Lead live workshops and coordinate high-impact role-plays.
  • Partner with instructional designers to refresh core training content.
  • Oversee a team of seven, providing direction, coaching, and development.
  • Drive multiple training projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines and delegating responsibilities.
  • Establish KPIs, analyze outcomes, and optimize training programs to close performance gaps.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Service leadership to align development plans with business goals.
  • Consult with stakeholders on program strategy and shape a roadmap for future enablement efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in designing and facilitating remote sales onboarding curriculum and training programs that accelerate ramp-up and drive strong Sales performance.
  • 7+ years of experience in training and development.
  • At least 3 years in a Director-level role.
  • Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage timelines, resources, and competing priorities.
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to gather insights from subject matter experts and translate them into effective learning experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment while maintaining a results focus.
  • Strong delegation and leadership abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Workday LMS and Rise 360.
