Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership to the Sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and lead the direct sales team to drive sales of our products/services to individual clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Develop and nurture relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers.
- Collaborate with channel partners to drive sales and increased market penetration.
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans that align with the overall business strategy.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate sales performance.
- Implement corrective actions to address any deviations from sales targets.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Foster a continuous learning environment to keep the team updated on industry trends.
- Drive new business and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
- Leverage customer feedback to drive product enhancements and improve the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a track record of driving revenue growth
- Demonstrated success in managing both direct and channel sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
- Professional and comprehensive understanding of project management principles that are relevant and applicable.
- Professional and comprehensive understanding of financial reporting of project results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in public speaking and delivering effective presentations.
- Cross-disciplinary collaborations and interactions with external vendors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Results-oriented with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in Account Planning, Forecasting, Product Service/Solution
Nice to Have
- Five years (5) years of progressive experience telecommunications and/or technology sales preferred
- Prior experience in Unified Communications, Telecom, VoIP, SaaS solutions, or similar industry preferred
