InterContinental Grenada (IHG) is seeking a Director of Rooms to assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Rooms department. You will provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards and safeguard our pillars of Sustainability, Wellness, and Out of the Ordinary experiences, ensuring all directives and initiatives are embraced at the resort.
What You'll Do
- Continually focus on rejuvenating the rooms experience by keeping abreast of industry trends and updating skills to improve product and service offerings.
- Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
- Lead a team of engaged managers within the Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Experiences departments who each manage their own teams daily.
- Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability, and ROIC.
- Operate the property consistent with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, safety protocols, service standards, and budgetary controls.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Four years of guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination.
- Able to thrive in multicultural teams and possesses strong leadership skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Able to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel on single status.
Nice to Have
- More than five years’ experience in a similar hotel operational role.
Team & Environment
You will lead a team of managers within the Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Experiences departments.

This is an onsite position located in Zighy Bay.
