Cologix is looking for a Director of Real Estate and Site Selection to lead our strategic real estate and site acquisition efforts. This director-level role is pivotal for securing the locations that support our growing digital infrastructure footprint.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end site selection process for new data center and network expansion projects
- Conduct market analysis and financial modeling for potential real estate acquisitions
- Negotiate and manage lease agreements, purchase contracts, and other real estate transactions
- Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, brokers, and local government entities
- Create and manage a pipeline of potential sites to meet strategic capacity requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a director-level (or senior manager) real estate and site selection role
- Deep expertise in commercial real estate, specifically within data center, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure sectors
- Strong track record of negotiating complex commercial leases and purchase agreements
- Expertise in financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment for real estate transactions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
