Brown & Brown is searching for a Director of IT Operations to enhance our expanding team. The Director of IT Operations is tasked with guiding and elevating IT operational effectiveness across the organization. This role supervises continuous enhancement initiatives, encompassing training, evaluation, metrics, and reporting, to guarantee efficient, compliant, and economically optimized IT operations. The Director of IT Operations collaborates with leadership to accelerate technology adoption and manages critical functions including portfolio management, release coordination, agile methodologies, integration processes, and managed service partnerships. How You Will Contribute: Customer Experience Leadership - Champion customer satisfaction by embedding customer-centric principles in every operational decision. - Collaborate with support, product, and business teams to transform customer insights into meaningful service enhancements. - Establish experience-driven service level agreements emphasizing responsiveness, reliability, and proactive problem resolution. - Cultivate a culture of accountability and empathy across IT teams, ensuring each interaction exemplifies excellence and care. Operational Excellence - Oversee comprehensive day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and transparency across systems and services. - Construct a customer-informed monitoring and incident response framework prioritizing minimal disruption and rapid recovery. - Enhance infrastructure performance through continuous measurement and improvement focused on end-user outcomes. Automation & Delivery Velocity - Develop and implement automation frameworks eliminating friction and accelerating service delivery. - Advocate Infrastructure-as-Code practices improving reliability and shortening time-to-value for internal customers. - Encourage self-service capabilities empowering users while maintaining governance and control. Identity & Access Management (IAM) - Navigate a secure, seamless enterprise IAM strategy encompassing conditional access, multi-factor authentication, and workload identity governance. - Balance security with usability, ensuring authentication and authorization experiences remain smooth for every user. - Continuously evolve IAM practices to enhance trust, reduce support overhead, and improve customer confidence. Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Establish data-driven feedback mechanisms measuring satisfaction, identifying bottlenecks, and driving service refinement. - Anticipate emerging trends in automation, cloud infrastructure, and identity security to enhance customer experience. - Guide teams to transcend traditional uptime metrics, focusing on technology performance's impact on customer trust and successful user experiences. Skills & Experience to Be Successful: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field. - 10 years of project management experience, with significant leadership in change management or continuous improvement environments. - Demonstrated success implementing technology strategies and solutions. - Proven capability managing change through complex project delivery. - Experience managing large-scale IT projects and teams. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities. - Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication competencies. - Strong project management and organizational abilities. - Capacity to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Pay Range $150,000 - $160,000 Annual The provided pay range represents a good-faith estimate based on the lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate for the role, considering required experience, geography, and budgetary constraints.
