EX Squared is hiring a Director of Information Technology (Remote)

We are currently seeking a Director of Information Technology in Florida (USA) for an expanding engineering and consulting organization. We are recruiting a Director of Information Technology to guide and supervise comprehensive IT operations within a dynamic professional environment. The exceptional candidate will spearhead strategic technological development and implementation, ensuring robust security, operational efficiency, and infrastructure scalability during organizational growth from approximately 100 to 500+ employees. You will serve as an engaged leadership professional, managing critical technological systems, optimizing infrastructure, establishing industry best practices, and cultivating productive relationships with vendors and stakeholders. This role integrates operational management with forward-thinking strategic planning, presenting a pivotal opportunity to significantly influence organizational advancement. Accountabilities - Direct and coordinate all IT operations, guaranteeing efficient, secure, and adaptable technological systems across the organization - Formulate and execute IT strategies, protocols, and business continuity frameworks supporting organizational objectives and minimizing operational vulnerabilities - Evaluate IT infrastructure and system performance, generating actionable recommendations for improvement, cost optimization, and productivity enhancement - Supervise network, system, and enterprise data security, facilitating comprehensive IT security assessments as necessary - Manage vendor partnerships and coordinate multi-site IT systems through enterprise resource planning mechanisms - Provide hands-on leadership of core technological systems and guide departmental expansion aligned with organizational growth - Occasional travel for project or operational requirements (approximately 15% annually) Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required; Master's or MBA preferred.
