Leadership in Financial Strategy and Reporting
The Director of Finance is responsible for directing all aspects of the organization’s financial operations, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. This role ensures the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial information used across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the recording and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, and vendor payments to support weekly disbursement cycles
- Lead the production and review of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance and clarity
- Develop and deliver cash flow forecasts and variance analyses as part of the monthly financial reporting package
- Orchestrate the month-end closing process to meet internal deadlines and reporting standards
- Guide the annual budgeting cycle in partnership with the Vice President/Controller and department leads
- Coordinate the external audit process, including preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation
- Provide managerial oversight to the Cash Control team and an Accounting Manager
- Review and maintain contractual agreements, including concessionaire leases and vendor contracts
- Collaborate with IT and Marketing teams to implement updates and modifications to the Anchor ticketing system
Technology Environment
This role works directly with the Anchor ticketing system, requiring coordination across departments to ensure functionality aligns with financial and operational goals.
