Brimstone is hiring a Director of Capital Markets

Brimstone is hiring a Director of Capital Markets to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial positioning. You will partner with our CFO, business, and engineering teams to understand long-term financial forecasts and build a clear picture of the company's financial situation 5+ years out.

What You'll Do

• Lead capital raising efforts, including equity, debt, and hybrid instruments, to support corporate strategy and growth initiatives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive capital structure models and financing strategies aligned with short- and long-term objectives.
• Manage negotiations and execution of financing transactions with investment banks, lenders, and other financial institutions.
• Conduct scenario analysis and evaluate trade-offs between various funding options.
• Monitor financial markets and macroeconomic trends to anticipate capital market opportunities and risks.
• Provide strategic insights on market developments, interest rates, investor behavior, and competitive activity.
• Advise executive leadership on optimal timing and structures for financing and capital allocation.
• Oversee liquidity and cash flow forecasting to ensure adequate funding for operations and investments.
• Implement hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate, foreign exchange, and other financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with all loan covenants, regulatory disclosures, and reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of investment banking experience.
• Proven experience building long-term financial forecasting models.
• Ability to take financial models and build a compelling investment story.
