Responsibilities
- Lead the development and support of instructional staff by guiding effective use of teaching resources to fully implement all curriculum areas.
- Support teachers in modifying instructional materials and methods to meet individual student needs through varied differentiation techniques, including flexible grouping.
- Conduct weekly reviews of teacher lesson plans.
- Carry out regular classroom observations and follow-up debrief sessions with teaching staff.
- Demonstrate strong instructional techniques by modeling effective teaching strategies in practice.
- Deliver meaningful feedback, coaching, and professional growth opportunities to help teachers strengthen their instructional skills.
- Design and deliver ongoing, focused professional development aligned with curriculum goals to sustain high academic achievement.
- Analyze multiple data sources to identify challenges to student learning and inform improvements in instruction.
- Track and apply student performance data from standardized tests, ILS systems, classroom assessments, and other sources to guide teaching decisions.
- Support and evaluate targeted intervention programs based on student needs, using data to measure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with parents to build trust in teachers and the academic program.
- Manage special academic initiatives such as peer mentoring, service learning, and community engagement efforts.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by leadership.
