Regenxbio is hiring a Director, Medical Science Liaisons to provide strategic leadership for medical affairs field activities, with a focus on the Neuromuscular/Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) therapeutic area. This is a remote, full-time position within the company's Medical Affairs organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the strategic direction for the Medical Science Liaison team in the Neuromuscular/DMD space
- Develop and execute field medical plans aligned with overall Medical Affairs objectives
- Foster scientific exchange with key external experts, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions
- Provide scientific and medical expertise to cross-functional internal partners
- Ensure the accurate and compliant communication of complex scientific and medical information
What We're Looking For
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
- Significant Medical Affairs experience with a focus on field-based medical roles
- Deep therapeutic expertise in Neuromuscular diseases, preferably Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing field medical teams
- Strong strategic planning, communication, and collaborative leadership skills
