Novolex is hiring a Director, Human Resources Bagcraft

Responsibilities

  • Engage in strategic planning to align HR strategies, projects, and initiatives with business objectives; serve as a trusted advisor and coach to operating unit leaders.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals, including managers, generalists, and administrative staff, providing mentorship, coaching, and acting as an escalation point for serious employee relations issues.
  • Develop a unified approach to engagement across office and production environments; proactively promote regular and effective communication at all levels.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all business unit and site leadership positions, including plant and operations managers; advise leaders on onboarding and integration.
  • Own the deployment of talent management processes, including annual performance and talent reviews, workforce planning, development plans, and learning opportunities.
  • Advise leadership on talent, organizational effectiveness, change management, and culture to align with company core values and strategic initiatives.
  • Regularly create and maintain dashboards and perform analytics to identify root causes and recommend countermeasures for people-related metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding human resources management; stay current on HR trends.
  • Facilitate and manage labor relations, including negotiations, conflict resolution, collective bargaining agreement administration, and oversight of grievance and arbitration processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
