Responsibilities
- Build and activate a Europe-wide supplier ecosystem with a primary focus on furniture, and selective categories including kitchen, tabletop, and decorative accessories.
- Leverage existing relationships with factories, agents, and sourcing intermediaries servicing U.S.-based luxury and premium home brands.
- Establish vendor redundancy across countries to reduce single-country risk and support long-term scalability.
- Identify and develop country-of-origin storytelling opportunities (e.g., Portuguese stoneware) aligned with Quince’s brand and merchandising strategy.
- Personally lead supplier vetting, cost negotiations, pricing acceptance, and onboarding during the first phase of market entry.
- Partner closely with Merchandising to execute New Product Concepts (NPCs) and ensure rapid commercialization of new vendors.
- Drive speed-to-market targets, including launch within 60 days of price acceptance and 45-day lead times on repeat orders.
- Ensure PCOGs remain at or below category averages while meeting quality and compliance standards.
- Serve as the primary Europe Hard Home sourcing partner to Merchandising, Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
- Translate merchant demand into executable supplier solutions without an existing regional infrastructure.
