Responsibilities
- Define and execute the field marketing vision, strategy, and operations across AMER, EMEA, and APJ, creating a scalable center of excellence with consistent plans, playbooks, and reporting while adapting to local needs and representing field insights to global go-to-market teams.
- Manage end-to-end account-based marketing and territory demand generation through events, digital, content, and outbound channels, leveraging intent and account-fit data, addressing complex security buying committees, and ensuring Sysdig's presence in AI-assisted discovery platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and AI Overviews.
- Establish strategy, standards, and calendar for the full event portfolio including RSAC, Black Hat, KubeCon, hosted summits, CISO dinners, and partner events, shifting toward owned, intimate, experience-driven formats with strict ROI measurement and executive engagement to connect Sysdig leaders with buying committees earlier.
- Act as the senior marketing partner to regional sales and RevOps, aligning on territory strategy, whitespace, pipeline, and revenue through territory planning, forecasts, and quarterly business reviews, while developing co-marketing initiatives with cloud, technology, and channel partners to scale partner-driven pipeline.
- Own and forecast the global field marketing budget, establishing a data-centric operating model with clear KPIs, multi-method measurement including attribution, incrementality, and win-loss analysis, and seamless bidirectional integration across event systems, Marketo, and Salesforce, holding each program accountable for ROI and pipeline contribution.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing distributed team, operationalizing a human-plus-AI model by turning high-value AI use cases such as event selection, agentic list building, and personalized follow-up at scale into repeatable, measured workflows with quality guardrails, while communicating strategy and performance to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of B2B marketing experience, including 5 or more years leading and building field, regional, or demand generation teams, ideally distributed across multiple geographies.
- Deep understanding of the enterprise cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure buyer, including how CISOs, security architects, and platform teams evaluate, and how procurement, legal, and finance influence outcomes.
- Proven experience managing a multi-million-dollar budget and a pipeline number, with documented evidence of measurable revenue impact at scale.
- Expertise across the full demand funnel, account-based marketing, intent data, and enterprise event execution, with a strong perspective on where field investment delivers returns and where it does not.
- Demonstrated AI fluency as a builder, not just a user, with examples of integrating AI into real marketing workflows, specifying what was built, what it replaced, and what it produced, and a clear view on where AI creates genuine leverage versus hype.
- Hands-on proficiency with a modern go-to-market stack including Marketo, Salesforce, an ABM or intent platform like 6sense or Demandbase, event technology, and business intelligence or reporting tools.
- Track record of operating as a strategic leader, building cross-functional partnerships, influencing executive stakeholders, making business cases, and leading planning across regions and time zones.
- Willingness to travel significantly, approximately 20 to 40 percent, including some evenings and weekends around major industry events.
