About the Role

Nimble Talent is looking for a Director, Field Access and Reimbursement - Southeast to provide strategic leadership for a team of field reimbursement managers. You will ensure patient access to company products by developing regional strategies, educating healthcare providers, and resolving access barriers.

What You'll Do

  • Hire, train, and develop a high performing field reimbursement manager team.
  • Coach team members to ensure maximum performance and reimbursement acumen.
  • Ensure all team activities strictly comply with all regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Develop and execute an overarching field access and reimbursement strategy for the assigned region.
  • Partner closely with Market Access, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams.
  • Oversee the team's efforts to educate providers on patient support programs, coding, billing, and prior authorization requirements.
  • Maintain deep expertise in the dynamic regional and local access and payer landscape.
  • Train team members on technical policies and systems impacting product access.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in field reimbursement, patient services, or market access within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Access and Reimbursement Manager or as a field-based first line leader.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • In depth experience navigating payer policies and systems for specialty products.
  • Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits, coverage policies, and reimbursement pathways.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Master’s degree.

You will lead a team of field reimbursement managers across the Southeast region.

  • Compensation: $223,000 - $273,000 + equity incentive plans.
