Lead the technical direction of enterprise AI initiatives as the senior engineering authority within a global professional services team. In this role, you'll shape the architecture and execution of complex AI systems—including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and large-scale MLOps deployments—while directly advising C-suite leaders on AI strategy, governance, and scalable implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the top technical advisor on major client engagements, translating business objectives into robust AI architectures and guiding stakeholders through technical decision-making.
- Build and lead a team of senior and principal engineers, emphasizing mentorship, technical rigor, and continuous improvement in AI and software engineering practices.
- Define and enforce architectural standards for secure, scalable AI applications using modern frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, and Llama Index, along with RAG and predictive modeling systems.
- Establish MLOps strategies for CI/CD, model governance, and enterprise-wide deployment across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments.
- Represent the organization at technical forums, contribute to thought leadership, and drive innovation within the AI engineering practice.
- Ensure delivery excellence across the services portfolio, managing technical risk and contributing to regional revenue goals through successful project outcomes.
- Travel up to 50% within the GCC region to support customer implementations and on-site collaboration.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in software development, AI engineering, or related technical domains, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Proven experience managing technical teams—hiring, developing talent, and driving performance in engineering environments.
- Strong command of full-stack development, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and secure REST API design.
- Deep expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and enterprise AI architecture.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive audiences.
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on security, scalability, and enterprise integration.
Preferred Background
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with the DataRobot AI Platform.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Work Environment
