Cencora is looking for a Director, Account Management to lead operational support for our Primary Health Systems customers. In this role, you will manage key customer relationships, drive retention, and ensure our services deliver continued success and profitability.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of account managers to deliver exceptional operational support to Primary Health Systems customers.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor and analyze reports and data to measure operational performance and customer satisfaction, developing and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support contract renewals and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Develop relationships with internal subject matter experts to enhance operational support and optimize customer outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and enhance the customer experience.
- Travel as needed to business events such as customer meetings, industry conferences, and national meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar, or equivalent combination of work experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
- Demonstrated record of operational excellence and customer relationship management success.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution for retail and alternate care accounts and healthcare trends.
- Strong working knowledge of account management, operational planning, and customer retention strategies.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to lead teams focused on value-driven operational support.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with very strong organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to direct activities of others, including coaching, training, guiding, developing, and managing.
- Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies to respond to marketplace changes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings, deliver presentations, prepare reports, and disseminate information.
- Effective interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships.
- Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs.
