Radish Lab, a social impact focused design agency and Certified B Corp, is seeking a Digital/UI Designer for a contract position. You will design websites and brands for nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations. Your initial project will involve designing a website for a nonprofit client under the agency's leadership.
What You'll Do
- Develop polished, production-ready UI in Figma from approved creative direction and wireframes.
- Translate strategic intent into visual design with careful attention to responsive behavior, accessibility, and developer handoff.
- Work on potential future projects including similar web work, branding, or campaign design.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of six years of professional experience.
- Expert-level Figma skills including components, variables, styles, and auto-layout.
- Strong understanding of design systems.
- Experience developing responsive UI designs based on established creative direction.
- Experience preparing production-ready Figma files with clear annotations for developer handoff.
- Ability to flag technical constraints, edge cases, and accessibility considerations proactively.
- Experience incorporating feedback and collaborating with design leadership and developers.
- Must be within 3 hours of the EST timezone.
- At least six working hours must be within 7AM and 8PM EST.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with nonprofits or in an agency setting.
- Experience presenting to stakeholders or clients.

You will join a small agency team, working under the management of a Design Director with feedback and support from the Creative Director.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $70 - $90 per hour equivalent.
