About the Role

The Digital Patient Engagement Coordinator is a part-time, remote role at Hire Hangar, responsible for managing inbound patient inquiries primarily via SMS and providing light phone consultation support. Using technology and consultative communication, you'll build trust, understand health needs, and guide prospects through their next steps in care.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and respond to SMS inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Ask relevant, open-ended questions about health goals and past experiences to better understand the individual’s situation.
  • Coordinate phone consultations via Calendly (or similar tools) if a deeper conversation is requested.
  • Accurately capture client details in the CRM and scheduling platforms (training provided).
  • Demonstrate empathy, curiosity, and genuine interest in each client’s background to help them feel supported.
  • Conduct brief, personalized follow-ups if leads need additional information or a reminder to schedule an appointment.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to respond promptly throughout the day, especially during East Coast business hours (estimated 16:00–24:00 GMT).
  • Excellent written skills for SMS outreach.
  • Clear verbal communication for phone chats.
  • Meticulous in record-keeping, updating systems, and following privacy guidelines.
  • Ability to learn new platforms quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRMs, telehealth software, or scheduling tools.
  • Comfortable setting up basic spreadsheets or running simple reports in Excel.
  • Familiarity or enthusiasm for telehealth, chiropractic, physical therapy, or concierge medicine.
