As the Digital Marketing Content Manager, you will shape and execute digital content strategies that support a government agency’s communications and public engagement goals. You’ll oversee social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring a consistent and professional brand presence across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage compelling digital content such as social media posts, graphics, and video assets
- Create and edit web copy, fact sheets, event descriptions, and stakeholder communications
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with strategic messaging and outreach objectives
- Support national digital campaigns, including ad initiatives, microsites, and content launches
- Produce and edit video content for broadcast and social distribution
- Track and report on digital performance metrics to inform future strategy
- Ensure adherence to style standards and recommend improvements to content guidelines
- Stay current with digital trends, government communications, and evolving audience needs
Qualifications
You bring at least five years of experience in social media management and professional communications, with a strong background in writing, editing, and digital content production. A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public policy, or a related field is required. You are comfortable using content management systems, email platforms, and digital advertising tools, and you adapt quickly to new technologies.
Success in this role requires emotional intelligence, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
