Nokia is hiring a Digital Hardware Engineer to develop embedded systems and circuits from architecture through layout. You will be responsible for simulating your designs for functional performance, signal integrity, and power supply sensitivity before integrating them into final products.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement embedded systems and circuits based on architecture and requirements, including layout.
- Simulate and evaluate designs for functional performance, signal integrity, and power supply sensitivity.
- Integrate your designs into the final product by interfacing with RF, Digital, and Software design teams across Nokia's global design centers.
- Participate in analyzing and solving complex engineering problems.
- Support prototype manufacturing and customer deployments internationally.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Must be a US citizen or greencard holder.
- Must be able to travel internationally to support prototype manufacturing and/or customer deployments.
Nice to Have
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Previous industry experience and a working knowledge of FPGAs, embedded processors, Linux, and programming languages like Python.
- Experience with clocking architectures utilizing digital frequency synthesis, PLLs, low phase noise clocks, and reference oscillators.
- Knowledge in Siemens Expedition (design), Hyperlynx (simulation), high speed oscilloscopes, and circuit/interface compliance testing.
- Basic to intermediate skill and desire to learn Signal Integrity (SI) simulation methods.
