Keyrock is seeking a Digital Assets Trader to join our core Algorithmic Trading Business, focusing primarily on ALT Coin clients in the EU time zone. You will be responsible for the day-to-day trading operations, monitoring our algorithms, and ensuring all client service level agreements are delivered.
What You'll Do
- Support the deployment of new algorithms, clients, and markets.
- Maintain a global updated view of all algorithmic trading operations.
- Execute trades across crypto spot, perpetuals, and options; hedge crypto and FX exposure.
- Perform trading operations including asset rebalancing across multiple CEXs and DEXs; facilitate settlement of assets against trading counterparties.
- Take preventative actions by adapting spreads and configuring conditions, pricing, and exposure thresholds on algorithmic trading bots.
- Monitor client service level agreements and evaluate trading performance using internal, exchange, and on-chain data.
- Keep track of treasury and liaise with the finance team on accounting for asset balances.
- Track and report technical and financial problems and provide support to the dev team for improvement.
- Act as a point of call internally on trading and market related insights.
- Liaise with the Commercial team to provide insights to market making clients on trading performance and service level agreement requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3+ years of cryptocurrency trading experience across CEXes and DEXes on a professional basis or with demonstrable evidence of trading a personal portfolio to a high level.
- Exposure to and an understanding of key tradfi asset classes (e.g., options, futures, FX) from a previous role or educational background.
- Fully comfortable with trading and order books.
- Understanding of digital assets and blockchain technologies (particularly CEXes and DEXes).
- Understanding of financial market structure.
- Strong attention to details.
- Good communicator.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Basic coding skills or ability to review queries and code in SQL.
- At least basic working knowledge of Python.
