MG OMD is hiring a Digital Analytics Director

About the Role

The Digital Analytics Director will lead digital analytics projects for clients at TRKKN, a global consultancy for the Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud. This role involves implementing analytics tools, consulting on marketing analytics objectives, and collaborating with cross-functional specialists to drive business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Implement and manage analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for clients, including features Consent Mode and Enhanced Conversions.
  • Consult with clients to understand their marketing analytics objectives, and leverage advanced capabilities in Google Analytics and Google Marketing Platform to deliver value.
  • Communicate project status with clients on a regular basis, including presentations when required.
  • Build strong client relationships that create more value for clients as we better understand their business needs.
  • Support migrations from client-side to server-side tagging.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with other team members, including cloud engineering, ad tech specialists, data scientists and digital marketing experts, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest digital analytics trends and technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation and management, including Server-Side Tag Manager (sGTM).
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with using Google Cloud for digital analytics, such as BigQuery for GA4 data export and Cloud Run for sGTM.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Nice to Have

  • SQL, JavaScript, and Firebase experience are strong additional skills.

  • Hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely); flexible core hours 10:30–16:30 with ability to flex start and end times (e.g., 8:30–16:30 or 10:30–18:30)
