Distalmotion SA is looking for a Dexter Robotics Launch Specialist to play a critical role in expanding access to robotic-assisted surgery. You will join our dedicated Robotics Launch Team, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes and smooth adoption of the Dexter robotic system at new customer sites across the United States.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct intraoperative and perioperative clinical support during launches, including system setup, docking, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
- Support training of surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to accelerate proficiency and ensure safe system use.
- Build strong working relationships with surgeons, OR teams, hospital leadership, and internal stakeholders.
- Travel nationally to support new robot installations and launch activities across multiple sites.
- Collaborate closely with the Launch Team Lead, Sales teams, and hospital stakeholders to execute launch plans.
- Participate in structured handoffs by shadowing and supporting knowledge transfer to newly assigned Clinical Sales Specialists.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Clinical Training, and Product for a coordinated launch experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation of launch activities, case support, and training delivered.
- Capture clinical, workflow, and training insights during launches and communicate feedback to internal teams.
- Provide additional support for internal training initiatives, sales enablement activities, and customer demonstration events.
What We're Looking For
- Completed professional training in healthcare (Registered Nurse or Certified Surgical Technologist – CST).
- Minimum 2–3 years of operating room experience in hospital or ambulatory surgery center settings.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting robotic-assisted surgery in the operating room.
- Confident presence in the operating room and ability to work effectively with surgeons and clinical decision-makers.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach in complex clinical environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent collaboration and organizational abilities.
- High level of flexibility and willingness to travel 75–80% nationally.
- Must reside within one hour of a major airport with access to direct national flights.
Nice to Have
- Experience with da Vinci robotic surgery is strongly preferred, including Intuitive Surgical training or equivalent case volume.
- Clinical knowledge in surgical specialties such as General Surgery and Gynecology.
