At Eva Travel, we are looking for a DevOps/ML Engineer (m/f/d) to work on data-intensive projects with a variety of clients. You will be responsible for designing technical approaches, implementing solutions in cloud or on-premises environments, and automating processes using DevOps and MLOps principles.
What You'll Do
- Design technical approaches for data-intensive applications with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Implement and take responsibility for solutions in either cloud-based (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or on-premises customer infrastructures.
- Automate recurring tasks using state-of-the-art DevOps and MLOps concepts to reduce customer time-to-delivery.
- Manage monitoring, failover, and recovery infrastructures to enable customers to securely operate their machine learning solutions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with disciplines such as Enterprise Architects, Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to develop applications like Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and data platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Physics).
- Initial practical experience with DevOps/MLOps principles and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP, as well as Databricks.
- Ability to communicate analytical results convincingly and present them to management.
- Fluent in English and can speak German at least at B2 level.
Nice to Have
- Work experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, and programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala.
- Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies and Data Lakes.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Apache Spark), data streaming (Apache Kafka), and workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow, Dagster).
