Nearform is looking for a DevOps/CloudOps Engineer to work on client projects, managing and optimizing cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance. You'll join a global community of 500 experts that values collaboration, curiosity, and an agile, transparent ethos.
What You'll Do
- Manage and optimize client cloud environments.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of infrastructure supporting cloud-based applications.
- Drive technical discussions and advise clients on best practices and approaches.
What We're Looking For
- Proficient communication in English (oral and written).
- 5+ years of experience delivering at an enterprise level, ideally in a remote agile environment.
- Experience in maintaining and optimizing Azure environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code technology, ideally with Terraform.
- Solid PowerShell scripting skills and experience.
- Data storage experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.
- Solid understanding of observability practices across the stack.
- Experience with security assessment frameworks (e.g., Soc2) and security awareness throughout the stack.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders, feeling comfortable in client-facing roles.
