Wavestone Germany AG is looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join a platform migration project in the Grid Asset System domain. You will play a key role in migrating microservice workloads from an Azure-based environment to a hybrid cloud platform, focusing on deployment adaptation, automation, and operational reliability.

What You'll Do

Consult and coordinate the migration of microservice workloads from Azure to a hybrid cloud platform.
Analyze existing deployments and adapt them to target platform requirements.
Coordinate and consult on application deployments, including setup, configuration, and deployment on the target platform.
Create, maintain, and hand over project documentation for the migration process, including configuration, process, and architecture changes.
Diagnose and resolve product problems during migration, supporting root cause analysis and solution implementation.
Coordinate and collaborate closely with Solution Architecture, DevOps Engineering, development teams, and other stakeholders.
Capture and describe migration requirements, analyzing and adapting given architecture design patterns.
Set up and adapt the cloud-native environment considering scalability, reliability, and security and implement automation workflows.
Integrate and operate CI/CD pipelines, introduce monitoring, observability, and proactive alerting mechanisms.
Process project backlog tasks, prepare and deliver content for meetings, and actively support project management.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Good knowledge and understanding of cloud platform concepts, specifically Azure.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, basic ArgoCD workflows, CI/CD concepts, Git, and basic scripting.
Extensive know-how in deployments with ArgoCD and Helm.
Very good knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, Kafka messaging, CEPH object storage, PostgreSQL databases, and container fundamentals.
Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting functions, and solving technical problems.
English proficiency at C1 level.
Understanding of technologies used: Kafka, Postgres, CEPH, and Kubernetes.

Nice to Have

German language skills are a plus.
