Real is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer for its R&D team to own the management of Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring. This role is the first dedicated DevOps hire and will play a pivotal part in shaping the team's future direction while working closely with a consultant DevOps team.
What You'll Do
- Take a hands-on role in managing Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Work closely with the consultant DevOps team to prioritize, schedule, and implement DevOps tasks.
- Help lead the overall technical vision and strategy for all things DevOps.
- Discuss with and educate other team members in DevOps methodology, design, and best practices.
- Be the foundational member of the dedicated DevOps team, shaping its future growth.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as an individual contributor DevOps engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud.
- Significant experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Datadog and a strong understanding of infrastructure and application performance metrics.
- Ability to truly encompass the Company Core Values.
