Kyndryl is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, bridging software development and IT operations. Your work will improve deployment speed, system reliability, and scalability across our environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code testing, integration, and deployment.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
- Implement and improve observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA, and IT teams to streamline development and release workflows.
- Maintain and enhance security practices in deployment processes and environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response efforts as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- 5-8 years of professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Good understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration.
