At Jobgether, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this remote role within the US, you will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to empower our development teams. Your focus will be on automation, performance, and security while collaborating closely with engineering, security, and operations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure repeatable, scalable deployments.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and minimize downtime.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and disaster recovery mechanisms to maintain high system reliability.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability, leveraging auto-scaling and caching strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to align DevOps strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor and guide team members on DevOps best practices and automation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, pipelines, and developer workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Strong software development skills, preferably in Python, with experience contributing to large codebases.
- Deep understanding of security best practices, IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills for distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in agile, cross-functional teams.

- Salary range: $160,000 - $190,000 USD
