Assured is looking for a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and evolve the core infrastructure that powers our platform. In this role, you will focus on automation, reliability, and empowering developers through robust platform engineering as we work to modernize insurance in a dynamic, startup environment.

What You'll Do

Design and scale the core infrastructure powering the Assured platform.
Automate provisioning and configuration across environments using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Advance AWS foundations (EKS, SQS, Aurora, S3) with a balance of innovation and sustainability.
Partner with engineering and product teams to improve performance, reliability, and observability.
Strengthen security posture through best practices and continuous improvement.
Build tools and systems that streamline developer workflows and accelerate product delivery.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Experience designing and operating highly available database solutions, especially Aurora PostgreSQL.
Deep experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes in a fast-growing, distributed environment.
