Jobgether is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust software architectures for high-impact client projects. This role combines hands-on development with strategic planning across mobile, web, and backend platforms, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead architecture design and hands-on implementation of software solutions across multiple platforms.
- Design, develop, and integrate APIs to ensure seamless communication between systems.
- Mentor engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and define technical standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, present technical solutions, and adjust strategies based on feedback.
- Set up and maintain DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, managing deployment processes to ensure reliable releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to project timelines.
- Adapt to diverse project needs, from API design to live team support, while maintaining high standards of code quality.
What We're Looking For
- 7–10+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in consulting or cross-functional product teams.
- Proven experience building consumer-facing mobile and web applications with native languages and core frameworks.
- Expertise in architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software systems.
- Experience designing and maintaining DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including scripting (Unix shell, Ruby, Perl, etc.).
- Strong ability to design and document APIs and communicate technical requirements clearly.
- Understanding of computer networking and security principles, including setup and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
- Demonstrated discipline, personal organization, and commitment to software craftsmanship.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to company HQ.
Nice to Have
- Experience with technical diagramming and visual communication of architectures.
- Publicly released personal apps or technical projects.
- Interest or experience in emerging platforms and languages such as Go, Rust, Alexa, or Unity.
- Ability to speak, write, or educate publicly about technical topics.
