PolicyMe is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own Salesforce delivery at scale. You will be responsible for our CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, automated testing, packaging, and release governance across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations. You'll build opinionated tooling, enforce quality gates, and partner with admins, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and frequent releases.
What You'll Do
- Own CI/CD for Salesforce: Design, implement, and maintain pipelines using Salesforce DX, Git, and a release toolchain.
- Define branching strategy, merge policies, code review standards, and automated validation.
- Manage sandboxes, scratch orgs, packaging, org shape, seeding, and refresh cadence.
- Establish source-driven development with unlocked or second-generation packages.
- Integrate unit and integration tests, metadata diffs, and deployment validation.
- Set quality gates, test coverage thresholds, rulesets, and break-glass procedures.
- Run release trains, produce release notes, manage approvals, and maintain change calendars.
- Maintain deployment runbooks and back-out plans.
- Enforce least privilege, profile/permission set migration, Health Check, secrets management, and audit trails.
- Implement monitoring and alerting on deployment pipelines and platform limits; track key metrics.
- Orchestrate data migrations with idempotent scripts and mapping.
- Coordinate with integration platforms for versioned, backward-compatible changes.
- Champion metadata rationalization, dependency management, and legacy remediation.
- Coach engineers and admins on DevOps best practices and drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Salesforce.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
