Radian Generation is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to own complex cloud infrastructure, lead strategic projects, and drive technical excellence. You will be responsible for designing and automating services in AWS, resolving high-complexity issues, and mentoring team members while engaging directly with clients.

What You'll Do

Lead the design, provisioning, and automation of services in AWS using AWS CDK.
Drive resolution of high-complexity issues that affect multiple systems or teams.
Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Represent the DevOps team as a technical point of contact in key client communications.
Mentor and train junior team members, developing programs to foster technical growth.
Support strategic implementation and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the DevOps team.
Collaborate with other departments to align DevOps processes with organizational goals.

What We're Looking For

4-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Successful completion of the AWS Solutions Architect – Professional exam and certification.
Proven client communication skills and ability to present and document internally and externally.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced DevOps skills: Expertise in AWS, automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, and CI/CD pipeline management.
Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional team leadership skills.
Expertise in root cause analysis, process improvement, and big-picture thinking.
Proficiency with DevOps tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD tools, ECS, and Codespaces.
Advanced expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Expertise in automation and orchestration with CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Expertise with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools: MS Office, Jira, and Confluence.
Proficiency with project management tools like Jira.

Nice to Have

Proven experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD processes.
Successful delivery of small to medium-sized projects.
Experience creating and delivering training programs.
Process improvement experience with methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
Experience in the green energy or utilities domain.
Experience working with a U.S.-based company.
