ALTEN is hiring a DevOps Engineer to enhance development and deployment processes through automation and system reliability. You will design and implement automated services for application deployment and management, ensuring high availability and performance while supporting international clients on advanced technology projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop and optimize tools and processes to support infrastructure.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and DevOps tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, project managers, and database administrators to streamline deployments.
- Manage incidents and ensure quick resolution by analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Participate in key processes: capacity planning, change management, incident/problem resolution, and continuous performance improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with Bash and Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficient in English to work in an international environment.
- Passionate about new technologies and eager to stay updated on industry trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Knowledge of OpenShift.
- Experience with Go.
- French language skills.
