HID Global, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will apply your 3 to 5 years of DevOps experience to manage infrastructure, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and enhance our security posture.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and update deployment infrastructure.
- Write and update infrastructure scripts using Terraform.
- Create and maintain Jenkins jobs and CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance Web Application Firewall (WAF) security practices.
- Improve notification systems for build and deployment jobs.
- Enforce standards for Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
- Automate and enhance CI/CD and code review processes.
- Create, update, and deploy Docker images and containers.
- Manage and deploy applications on Amazon EKS clusters.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD tooling.
- A strong understanding of WAF security principles.
- Familiarity with SCA, SAST, and DAST tools and practices.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Proven experience with AWS technologies: EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows OS, shell scripting, Nginx, and PKI infrastructure.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
- Additional knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
