Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automation tools and processes. You will enable rapid, reliable, and scalable software development and deployment within our R&D ecosystem, shaping the future of technology infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using best practices in software development and IT infrastructure management.
- Automate the software delivery pipeline through configuration management tools, containerization technologies, and orchestration platforms.
- Implement logging solutions to ensure high application and service availability.
- Implement code and vulnerability scanning and automated testing with tools like VectorCast, Coverity, Linters, and Blackduck.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations of the technology stack, including troubleshooting performance, security, and scalability issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Design complex pipelines in Jenkins with code scanning, security standards, and software bill of materials.
- Stay current with emerging trends in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure as code.
- Lead projects and initiatives to improve the technology stack, including migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with at least 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with CI/CD and multiple integrations.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, Bash, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Salt.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Podman or Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience with Code Scanning and secure coding standards like MISRA, implemented within Jenkins.
- Experience with test automation and code review tools like VectorCast, Coverity, Linters.
- Familiarity with tools like Blackduck, Snyk, SonarQube to generate reports.
- Experience creating Software Bill of Materials to expose vulnerabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the capacity for continuous learning and adaptation.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Experience working on IoT and embedded systems.
- Hardware in the loop and security testing experience.
- A security-first mindset; experience working in regulated environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience mentoring team members.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $91,000.00 - $147,200.00.
