Jobgether is looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design, secure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for our mission-critical applications. You will work in an innovative, employee-owned environment where operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration are key.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure supporting critical IT applications.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure integration, automation, and compliance across environments.
- Deploy and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.
- Support application containerization using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.
- Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tools, and automation strategies to enhance delivery speed and system reliability.
- Document architecture, procedures, and configurations for transparency, audit readiness, and knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration, preferably supporting federal or enterprise-scale applications.
- Proven experience designing and managing infrastructure in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and federal cybersecurity standards (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills in a cross-functional Agile environment.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar).
