Wavestone Germany AG is looking for a DevOps-Architekt (m/w/d) to lead a platform migration project, moving microservice workloads from an Azure environment to a hybrid cloud target platform. We are a consultancy built on responsibility and high performance, combining deep industry expertise with interdisciplinary thinking.
What You'll Do
- Advise and coordinate the migration of microservice workloads from an Azure environment to a hybrid cloud target platform.
- Analyze existing deployments and derive concrete migration strategies for the target platform.
- Analyze the existing microservice architecture and adapt it to the target platform's reference architecture.
- Coordinate and align with the reference architecture and engineering team as well as solution architecture.
- Coordinate, advise, and support application deployments on the new target platform.
- Support the setup, configuration, and deployment of applications on the target platform.
- Establish, adapt, and optimize the cloud-native environment considering scalability, reliability, and security.
- Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
- Implement and operate monitoring, observability, and alerting mechanisms to ensure operational reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation, configuration and architecture changes, and prepare content for meetings.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues during the migration and handle tasks from the project backlog.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps or Solution Architect.
- Extensive expertise in deployments with ArgoCD and Helm.
- Strong experience with Microservices and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, CEPH object storage, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Fluent English skills at C1 level.
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge and understanding of cloud platform concepts, e.g., Azure.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns for microservice architectures.
- Design experience and practical experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, CI/CD concepts, Git, and Scripting.
- Experience with monitoring, incident and problem management, as well as fault diagnosis and resolution.
- German language skills as an advantage.
