The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is hiring a Development Specialist - University Relations to provide strategic, administrative, and programmatic support for the Division of University Relations. This role focuses on alumni engagement and Foundation campaign-related initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of campaign-related events and activities.
- Serve as the primary project manager for the Affinity Group Leader initiative: recruit, onboard, and support volunteer leaders as they engage their networks.
- Track and manage project timelines, benchmarks, communication, and deliverables related to the campaign and Affinity Groups.
- Coordinate with Division staff and campus stakeholders to align messaging, scheduling, supporting materials, and execution of events and volunteer activity.
- Prepare regular reports on progress and performance metrics; provide recommendations for improvement and refinement.
- Maintain accurate and current records of project materials, volunteer activities, budgets, and timelines.
- Organize and manage a range of Division of University Relations-hosted events, including Foundation Board meetings, regional alumni gatherings, volunteer meetings, donor recognition events, and campaign celebrations.
- Schedule and coordinate event logistics, including facilities, catering, décor, A/V, and vendor relationships.
- Develop event materials, including invitations, nametags, signage, registration materials, and post-event communications.
- Collaborate with the Division team and internal partners to promote events across print, email, and digital platforms.
- Evaluate each event and prepare summaries and recommendations to inform future planning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, project management, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from initiation to completion, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience in project management, event planning or operations management.
Technical Stack
- Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Word), Google Workspace, Outlook
- Raiser’s EdgeNXT or similar donor database (preferred)

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000
- UW System employees receive an excellent benefit package.

This is a hybrid position based at the UW-Whitewater campus.
