Render is looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to grow usage and word-of-mouth among full-stack application developers. You will build an engaged developer community around a platform with 3M+ developers and help establish Render as the developer platform of choice for deploying to the cloud.
What You'll Do
- Build and share high-impact technical content: blog posts, videos, quickstart guides, and sample apps.
- Develop and maintain code examples, tutorials, and native environments that showcase best practices.
- Represent Render at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and on podcasts.
- Engage directly with the developer community on GitHub, Discord, Reddit, and other platforms.
- Identify and improve high-leverage onboarding flows for popular frameworks and languages.
- Launch and support programs for developer champions, ambassadors, and early adopters.
- Serve as the voice of the developer internally, partnering with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing.
- Help plan and participate in Render-hosted technical events and community activations.
- Track the impact of DevRel efforts using adoption metrics, community engagement, and content performance.
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of experience in developer relations, engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical community building.
- Strong technical foundation and experience with modern infrastructure, developer platforms, and web application frameworks.
- Passion for helping developers succeed, with a hands-on approach to education and enablement.
- Comfort debugging issues, building prototypes, technical content, and tools or examples that reduce friction for developers.

- Ability to represent Render in local developer communities through events and meetups.
