Responsibilities
- Enable self-service capabilities for deployment, testing, and monitoring workflows
- Lead initiatives to improve system reliability and strengthen infrastructure resilience
- Enhance the on-call experience through improved tooling and well-defined procedures
- Provide technical support and coordination during incidents to ensure effective resolution
- Design, operate, and optimize Kubernetes-based infrastructure platforms
- Evaluate and implement deployment methods such as blue/green, canary, and shadow routing suited to our scale and structure
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish safe deployment and rollback strategies
- Manage and advance cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and shared platform services across teams
- Ensure shared systems are stable, scalable, and secure
- Assess and suggest developer tools that align with actual team workflows and requirements
- Leverage DORA metrics to detect inefficiencies and drive improvements throughout the software development lifecycle
