SAP Software Solutions is looking for a Developer Associate (Full Stack Developer) to join a co-located DevOps team building business applications and technology. You will own the design and development of full stack features, responsible for the full lifecycle of software components from development through production deployment and monitoring.
What You'll Do
- Work with the Product Team to align the Platform with the Product Vision.
- Operate in a cross-functional product team with daily syncs and end-to-end product responsibility.
- Design and develop full stack product features based on customer and business requirements.
- Own the full lifecycle of one or more software components, from development and test automation to production deployment and monitoring.
- Participate in cross-team code reviews, software architecture, and design sessions.
- Maintain, improve, and refactor product and test code bases.
- Evaluate, prototype, and implement technical solutions for modern business problems.
- Deeply analyze code to deliver a highly optimized and performant product to a global customer base.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of experience in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field.
- Passion for fast iterations, test-driven development, pair programming, pragmatic development, and a fail-fast attitude.
- Strong knowledge of OOP and software design principles.
- In-depth knowledge of Java programming.
- Knowledge of modern web frameworks such as Angular, React, Typescript, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases.
- Proficiency in safely and efficiently refactoring larger codebases.
- Knowledge of specific technologies: Java 8+, AngularJS (1.5+), NestJS, and state management libraries like NgRx.
- Understanding of microservice-based cloud architectures using Spring/Spring Boot.
- Skill in building responsive and accessible frontend code.
- Strong practice in writing and executing unit and integration tests.
