Runware is looking for a Developer Advocate to serve as the technical voice connecting our media generation API with the developer community. This hands-on role involves bridging the gap between engineering and developers to foster growth and success.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for developers using our API across Discord, forums, and GitHub discussions.
- Create comprehensive code examples, integration guides, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Write technical blog posts, tutorials, and API guides that help developers succeed with Runware.
- Review and improve API documentation based on real developer feedback and common pain points.
- Actively manage our Discord server, Reddit presence, and developer-focused social channels.
- Create video demos, code walkthroughs, and sample projects for common use cases.
- Identify and showcase impressive community projects and integrations built on our platform.
- Host technical office hours, AMAs, and developer workshops.
- Organize technical challenges, hackathons, and developer spotlight initiatives.
- Surface community feedback and feature requests to product and engineering teams.
- Test new API features and provide developer-focused feedback during development.
- Amplify product launches and technical announcements across developer channels.
- Track key developer engagement metrics and community health.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in developer relations, technical advocacy, or a similar developer-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML APIs and media generation workflows.
- Comfortable with code—can read, write, and debug Python/JavaScript for examples and troubleshooting.
- Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling.
- Understanding of AI model ecosystems and generative AI integrations.
- Excellent technical writing skills—can explain complex concepts clearly for developers.
- Active in developer communities—AI/ML Discord servers, GitHub, Stack Overflow, X/Twitter.
- Experience creating technical content (blog posts, documentation, video tutorials).
- Comfortable with developer-focused social media and community platforms.
- Previous experience with AI generation tools and workflows.
Nice to Have
- Contributing to open source projects or maintaining developer resources.
- Experience with prompt engineering and AI workflow optimization.
- Background in computer vision, ML engineering, or AI product development.
- Experience speaking at conferences, meetups, or developer events.
