Amentum is seeking a Desk Officer 3 to support intelligence operations for a client in the Northern Virginia area. You will apply your expertise in intelligence operations and targeting to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.
What You'll Do
- Support intelligence operations for our client.
- Work with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools.
- Utilize customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7 to 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools.
- Strong briefing and writing skills.
- Ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision.
- Regional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interest.
- Initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives.
- Foreign field experience from at least two overseas tours or extensive overseas TDY experience.
- Must possess a high level US Government issued clearance at the time of application.
Nice to Have
- Customer certification as a Desk Officer or Staff Operations Officer.
- Experience in Intelligence Operations, Analysis, or Support to Field Operations.
- Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases.
