About the Role
The Security Designer II will be responsible for designing and implementing security systems, including physical security and access control, for various projects. This role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure security designs meet client requirements and industry standards.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security systems.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and records.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in security design.
- Assist in the development of security system standards and guidelines.
- Review and approve submittals and shop drawings.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
- Prepare and submit permit applications.
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the development of security system budgets.
- Provide input on project scheduling and phasing.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present security system proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with other designers and engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
Nice to Have
- Certification in security design or a related field.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
