Responsibilities
- Identify and contact qualified design candidates using multiple sourcing methods
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate fit for design roles
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and candidate progress
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements
- Communicate clearly with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Coordinate interviews and scheduling between teams and applicants
- Provide feedback to candidates in a timely and professional manner
- Build a pipeline of design talent for future opportunities
- Stay informed about design industry trends and tools
- Use applicant tracking systems to manage candidate data
- Support diversity and inclusion goals in recruitment efforts
- Attend design events and networking opportunities to source talent
- Develop outreach strategies tailored to design professionals
- Manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact to close
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruiting, preferably for design or creative roles
- Strong understanding of design disciplines such as UX, UI, or visual design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems
- Experience sourcing passive candidates
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in documentation
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other professional networks
- Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates
- Knowledge of portfolio evaluation for design roles
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment
- Adaptability to changing priorities and roles
- Professional demeanor with both candidates and hiring teams
