Epiroc is hiring a Design Engineer to join our Tophammer Solutions R&D team in Fagersta, Sweden. You will contribute to the design and development of next-generation Tophammer rock drilling tools, working on all parts of the development process from CAD modeling to field test follow-up within an international environment.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the design and development of next generation Tophammer rock drilling tools.
- Work on all parts of the development process, including CAD-modeling, creation of drawings, ordering of prototypes, and follow-up of results from lab and field tests.
- Work on all different types of R&D projects with different technology readiness levels.
- Engage in daily cross-functional collaboration with other departments and divisions.
What We're Looking For
- A curious, self-driven, and structured engineer.
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- Capability to take initiative and operate work tasks independently.
- Ability to work structured with a scientific approach.
- Good collaboration skills with other departments and divisions.
- Background as a Mechanical Engineer or other equivalent engineering education.
Nice to Have
- Previous work life experience within mechanical design and manufacturing.

The Tophammer Solutions R&D team consists of 13 dedicated Design Engineers, Technicians and Calculation Engineers. You will be part of this focused team driving innovation.
